2007 Season Preview
Cole Whitt will be back in the seat of his 410 Non Wing Sprint Car again this season. Cole is looking forward to a full season of over 60 races on the competitive Indiana circuit and will race against some of the toughest competition in non wing sprint cars. Cole is also looking forward to competing in USAC competition when he turns 16 and running Indiana Sprint Week.

East Bay Raceway – Winternationals – Brandon, Florida
Back in the seat of his 410 Sprinter, Cole headed to Florida to race a new track and new surface. 42 Non Wing sprint cars would compete towards Friday’s $10,000 purse. “We got one night of practice and every time out, we got better and better, explained Cole. I’m ready and excited to get back in the 410.” Three nights of racing began Monday. Cole would draw 60 out of 60 for a starting position. Running strong Cole raced hard for the transfer position to the A main, two cars made contact and spun, with no where to go, Cole was disappointingly taken out of competition with a bent front axle.

Chili Bowl Midget Nationals 2007
The 2007 Chili Bowl Midget Nationals boasted over 289 entries this year. Cole Whitt and his Red Bull midget with Fontana power was scheduled to run Friday night for preliminary action. Cole ran 2nd in his heat race to Dave Darland, placing him in the 2nd qualifier where he finished 5th. In the B main Cole raced hard for the transfer position with Bobby East.

December 01, 2006 – 2006 410 Sprint Car Season
Cole Whitt was named the Hoosier Auto Racing Fans (HARF) Rookie-of-the-Year for 2006. “HARF is one of the oldest racing fan clubs in American History, and to win this fan based award is very special to me,” said Cole Whitt. This award was given to a raw rookie racing 410 sprint cars for the 2006 racing season. Other award winners were Jon Stanbrough for Driver of the Year and Brian Clauson for Most Improved Driver.

October 14, 2006 – Kokomo Speedway

Cole would end his Indiana sprint season at Kokomo Speedway at the Jack Hewitt Classic. Cole qualified 8th quick for the night and finished 4th in his heat race. In the Main event Cole would finish 6th place. Matt Neely won the event followed by Shane Hollingsworth, Chris Windom, Scotty Weir, and Casey Shuman.
