Monday, January 19, 2009 – Now a fixture in motorsports, the traditional trek to Tulsa, OK for the Chili Bowl Nationals has concluded. For Cole Whitt, this marks the beginning of a new season with Keith Kunz Motorsports. It also meant the chance to take the reigns of the new 2009 Toyota powered midget which he will pilot for the 2009 USAC National Midget Championship season. |

Tuesday, January 6, 2009 – It was just six weeks ago that the 2008 USAC National Championship concluded for Cole Whitt at Turkey Night. Now, in one week, the 2009 season will begin for Cole. Cole and more than 280 midget cars owners and drivers will be on hand for the traditional Chili Bowl Nationals held in Tulsa, OK. |

Cole Whitt Achieves his Goal 2008 USAC Midget National Champion!! |
Cole Whitt entered the final USAC National Midget Series event with an opportunity to make history. The finale, the 2008 Turkey Night Grand Prix, hosted a showdown between Cole Whitt in the number 71 Keith Kunz Motorsports midget who trailed Tracy Hines by 17 points, in his number 21 Tony Stewart Racing midget. For Cole, he needed to finish several positions in front of Tracy to win the title (depending on finishing position). |
