USAC Annual Turkey Night Grand Prix – Irwindale Speedway |
Cole Whitt finished 2nd place in the 40 lap Lucas Oil Western Sprint car race at Irwindale Speedway. Sixteen year old Cole qualified 6th quick in the 35 car field and led 31 laps before being passed by Bobby Santos who took the win. In the 67th Annual Turkey Night Grand Prix USAC National Midget race, over 66 midgets were on hand to race. Whitt finished 19th in the #71 Keith Kunz Motorsports entry.

November 2007 – USAC Perris Budweiser Oval Nationals |
Cole Whitt finally got to compete in his home state at the USAC Budweiser Oval Nationals at Perris Speedway. Friday, the 16 year old, claimed quick time by driving his Red Bull F-5 Twister to post the fastest time of the weekend. The three day event was a point based system placing Whitt on the pole of the C main for the final action on Saturday.

Kokomo Speedway, October 20-21, 2007 |
Whitt, returning home from his last run in the Midwest in his 410 sprint car, was fresh off a fantastic run at Kokomo Speedway’s Kokomo Klash. The youngster qualified quick time and looked to be on his way to his first win at one of his favorite tracks, when on the final lap coming off of turn four Whitt’s tire gave way and shredded apart.

Toyota All Star Showdown, Irwindale Speedway |
Cole Whitt tried his hand at the wheel of a super late model. Whitt, who had to first get a NASCAR license to compete arrived at Irwindale Speedway with intentions of getting some seat time and practice. “I was really excited to get into a stock car for the first time, said Whitt. As we started putting down some laps in practice we realized we were right there with some of the faster guys. The car owner and crew thought I should go ahead and race. So we did!”
