Cole Whitt was behind the wheel of a new ride for the two day race event Midwest Sprint Car Series Fall Classic Sprint Nationals at Lawrenceburg Speedway. This was a great opportunity for Cole to try a new car and pilot the 2B car for Scott Benic.

Whitt wins #2 at Lincoln Park and claims 2nd at Bloomington!! |
Lincoln Park Speedway Sept 16, 2006 - Cole Whitt won his 2nd sprint car feature Saturday night at Lincoln Park Speedway. With 30 cars in the show for the season finale at LPS, Cole had a great run in his heat race from the 6th position to finish 2nd. In the main event Cole would start on the third row inside. On the start Whitt quickly moved into the 4th position.

Cole wins 410 sprint car feature, follows up with 2nd place at Kokomo! |
PUTNAMVILLE, IN – Fans at Lincoln Park Speedway celebrated the end of the summer and Labor Day weekend in style Saturday night with a fireworks display for the fans. In the main event Cole Whitt took on a field of 39 sprint cars to win his first 410 sprint car feature. From a 6th place starting position in his heat race, Cole finished 2nd by inches to Jason Holt.

WHITT RACES STRONG THROUGH THE HOT AUGUST NIGHTS |
Cole Whitt has posted six top 10 and two top 5 finishes in the last 12 races. All of his latest racing efforts have landed him in the A features at Bloomington, Kokomo, Lawrenceburg and Lincoln Park Speedway. With a lot of seat time under his belt Cole continues to improve on the track.

Thursday, July 6, 2006 - After a relaxing 4th of July weekend, Cole was back in Indiana for 4 nights of racing. Cole was excited to race his midget Thursday night at Kokomo Speedway. The race format would be two heats and Cole would start his first heat in 8th. When the green flag dropped Cole quickly moved up to 5th position in a stacked heat with front runner Brian Clauson. He was able to pick up one more position to finish 4th. In the second heat, Cole started 5th and again made some great passes into the 3rd position. |
